WebLOAD Open Source 8.1 RELEASED

This is a bit late, but here it is.

WebLOAD 8.1 includes some important new features, among them a complete UI refresh, an extensibility SDK and additional server-side monitoring. During the alpha phase, some of these features might not work properly, and we are working on fixes that will provided in subsequent builds.

  • UI refresh: most of the graphical elements of WebLOAD, including icons, were replaced with new elements. In addition, a new editor control was added with improved look & feel and new productivity features such as line numbering, outlining support and improved intellisense
  • WebLOAD SDK: WebLOAD now supports new extensibility features that enable users and developers to enhance WebLOAD through the following extensions:
    • Protocol Driver Extension
    • PMM Extensions
    • Toolbox Extension
    • User Agent Extension
    • Console Report Template Extension
    • Object (Java) Extension
  • Server-side monitoring: WebLOAD now provides support for monitoring JMX-enabled applications and monitoring of Apache web servers
